Why We Need Your Help

The school is set to open in a temporary building from September 2025.

We are raising funds to cover the following essential costs:

Initial start-up costs - The main costs to get the school started
Classrooms – We need to purchase classroom furniture and learning materials
Teacher Salaries & Training – Hiring qualified staff to deliver quality education and ensuring they have access to good quality teacher training
Books & Learning Resources – Equipping students with the tools they need to succeed
Electricity & Water Supply – Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for students.
Technology (ICT) – Providing access to computers, the internet, and other digital tools so our students can keep up with the latest educational advancements and develop essential tech skills for the future
Schools Meals – Providing students with healthy breakfast and lunch each day.

We are also raising funds for our future development:

Purpose built School Buildings - We intend to build 3 purpose-built schools, the first being ready for the Autumn term of 2026

Essential Support for Families

Additionally, we understand that many families in The Gambia face significant financial challenges. To ensure that students can continue their education without worrying about their family’s basic needs, we will be providing food and other essential support to the families of students attending the school. This will help alleviate some of the financial burden on parents and enable them and their children to focus on their child’s education and their future. Your generous support will empower children, create opportunities, and break the cycle of poverty through education.
